The Thonet wooden chair model you are examining is produced according to original techniques and its biggest differences  are that it is 3600 gr   , which is quite light compared to wooden chairs and it stands out as extremely solid. A second feature is that it is produced without any joints . There are no joints in any of the parts used. Especially the jointless support piece between the four legs attracts attention.
