Description
Epoxy Metallic Color Pigment 10 gr
(Not used alone. Used to color Eposi Resin)
Masstil color pigments consist of pigments suspended in epoxy resin mixed with various transparent polymers to obtain homogeneous color.
It is used to color coatings, paints, gelcoats, lamination casting, thermoset resins and epoxy. It is added at 5% rates.
The most important element in the appeal of paint is its color. In order for the color imparted by the dye added to the paint to appear beautiful to the human eye, many elements resulting from both the dye itself and its interaction with the components that make up the paint determine the color of the paint.
Pigments are colored or colorless chemicals of organic or inorganic structure that have small particle sizes and are insoluble in a solvent or a binder, but are one of the basic blocks of paint and do not give a film but are included in the film.
Pigments are in principle insoluble in the solvents used in paints. In contrast, the liquid formed by the paint solvents and binders exists as solid suspensions of micron size, which are stably dispersed in the medium. The homogeneous dispersion or dispersion of pigments as stable solid suspensions in the solvent-binder medium is the most critical step in paint production. The size of the majority of commercially available pigments is sufficiently small, ranging from 0.01 to 1.00 µ.
